Eat Art with John Sutherst Builds on Past Success
Liverpool based dot-art hosted their third Eat Art event last week, at the recently opened Print Hotel. This unique series of events gives guests the opportunity to gain an insight into the creative processes of a talented local artist, while enjoying a meal in one of the city's top venues.
Nearly 40 diners joined John for an inspiring evening of fine art and fine food in this beautifully restored venue. After a welcome drink in Cyan, the private members bar at Print, the event moved downstairs to the Restaurant for some truly delicious food. Between courses, local artist John Sutherst gave a fascinating insight into the development and production of his art and answered questions from the audience. A selection of his art was on display throughout the venue, and of course, all work was for sale.
One guest commented-
"These Eat Art evenings are fabulous, both for artists and diners. We find it fascinating to have the artist describe their career and their works. It brings a fresh perspective to viewing pieces."
Eat Art is a regular event held at venues across the city, with each evening highlighting a different local artist represented by dot-art.
The next event will take place in February 2008 and feature leading realist artist Keith Fearon.
