It's About Websites (IAW) is a website design agency based in Liverpool. The company was set up by former Rippleffect colleagues Gavin Sherratt and Paul Court in November 2007. 
Gavin is the former creative director of Rippleffect for whom he worked for 8 years. IAW have a simple mission. IAW Director Gavin Sherratt explains:
"We aim to give clients an affordable, no jargon, creative solution for all of their online needs. We offer a bespoke service which can cover sites ranging from a single page 'online business card' microsite to a fully expandable content managed website that enables them to update their website content whenever they like".
IAW also offer consultancy and advice for clients with existing sites. IAW specialise in search engine optimisation (SEO) ensuring client's websites can easily be located and accessed by potential customers. IAW also offer online marketing solutions including -newsletters and social network integration and training, to help business make the most from leading social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Gavin believes that knowledge of the customer is crucial to excellent service. He said

IAW are currently involved in the successful Mankey Monkey project. Gavin explains:
"The Mankey Monkey project is an urban arts project that is raising money for The Alder Hey Imagine Appeal where there will a 100 monkey popping up in and around the city of Liverpool. It has been an fun project and has allowed us to show our online and social media marketing skills, as the project started from a small viral idea started by Mark Brake (Your Business Ezine) and David Hallangen-Lake (Hallangen Art).
The project has been self financed via the business community of Merseyside bring to together both large and small organisations to bring our army of 3ft tall monkeys to Liverpool whilst also raising monkey 'sorry' money for a very good local charity."
IAW are also working with the Liverpool digital publication 'Your Business Ezine' developing an online web portal for them and helping them with the promotion and distribution of their online magazine Gavin is excited about upcoming projects. He said:
"We are currently working with Cheshire based bar & restaurant group Residence UK Ltd, developing their new website for their flagship venue 'Residence in Nantwich Cheshire'. We are also about to start the design and development for the official sMatt Littler & Darren Jeffries website, who are probably best known for their roles in Hollyoaks as Max & O.B. Their site is going to act as a communication channel for them to keep their fans up to date with their activities as they embark on their new roles as TV presenters after recently appearing on Channel 4 T4 programme Rivals."
Gavin also plans to expand IAW's offer, branching into video production. He explains:
"We're also in the process of developing a series of packages with Liverpool based filmmaker John Scotland under the brand of It's About Video. It's about Video (IAV) will work as sub project of IAW".
Gavin hopes to collaborate with other creative media companies. He said:
"We feel that working together is the best way for the city's creative industries to grow and generate effective innovative partnerships."
